To setup debit in PCCharge:
1. The pinpad device MUST be injected correctly with the encryption key from the debit processor. This is where the most mistakes are made. For example, if Visanet is the debit processor, Visanet must inject the pinpad with the merchant debit account information.
2. The merchant information for the credit card company and debit card company should be exactly the same.
3. The business type in the credit card setup must be 'retail' to process debit transactions.
4. Debit cards must be swiped and track II data must be captured. |
