PCCharge Client - Merchant Account Number doesn't Show-up

Problem
The merchant account number does not appear when the processor is selected in PCCharge Client's Setup Wizard.
Solution
Permissions are not set correctly 99.9% of the time.

One way to check permissions:

1.) On the computer on which PCCharge Client is installed, browse through the Windows Network navigator to the computer on which PCCharge PRO or Payment Server is installed.

2.) Access the PCCW or Active-charge directory.

2.) Right-click in the directory and select 'New', then 'Text File'.

3.) If the permissions are set right, a document called New Text.txt (or New Text Document.txt) will be created. If the permissions aren't right, they will get an error message and the text file is not created.

Permissions, securities and sharing MUST be set correctly. Each computer name must be added to the permissions/securities/sharing list for the PCCharge PRO or Payment Server folder in order for PCCharge Client to work successfully.
