Problem

When attempting to settle, the error is 'Batch Close Error 055 Decline, Inv Trans = Cannot Process.

Solution

This error could occur if the account is setup for auto-close and an attempt is made to manually close the batch from within the software. Don't attempt to manually close batches when set up with RBOC for Auto Close. Call RBOC to verify how the account is configured to close or settle.
