Problem

When attempting to connect to Visanet via TCP/IP for settlement or authorization, the error is ERROR RECORD 4.

Solution

Attempt to resolve by trying the following: Install the latest version of Internet Explorer Verify that port 5003 is open on the firewall for incoming and outgoing messages Windows NT users should have service pack 5 or later installed
