Problem

The error is 'Error Reading Card' when a credit card is swiped into the PCCharge Client software applications.

Solution

Verify that Interent Explorer is up-to-date.

Verify that Track 1 and 2 data is being captured by swiping the credit card into notepad (see correct format under Additional Comments).

Verify that the credit card swipe device appears on the list of Hardware at http://www.gosoftware.com/support/PCChargeHardware.htm#card.

Additional Comments

When swiping a credit card with notepad open, the print out should appear on two lines and in the format displayed below.
