Problem

When attempting to process a transaction, the response is Invalid Data.

Solution

Many times, this error indicates that either the ticket number is too long or contains unacceptable characters. The ticket number should be no longer than 8 characters. Accepted characters include numbers and letters. Symbols such as '-', '*', '&', '#', '>' and '%' are not accepted by the processor in the ticket number field.
